Fishing and wildlife safari in Uganda
On this 5 days fishing and wildlife safari, you get to explore the Murchison falls and the river Nile in Uganda. The park is full of African animals including the big four such as the Lion, leopard , Buffalo and elephant. On the other hand, the river Nile offers the best opportunity to catch the largest Nile perch.

Itinerary
On arrival, you are warmly received at the airport. Then transfer to the hotel for overnight rest.
Overnight stay: Cycad Guest House (BB) or The Boma (BB)
This morning, we drive northwards to the Masindi colonial town. After a short break, we continue through Budongo forest until the top of the Murchison Falls. Standing on top of the rocks, we enjoy the views and sounds of the rumbling falls. Here, the river Nile evidently squeezes through a small way and gushes below. The river then calmly continues its journey in the background.
Finally check in at the lodge and relax to the sight of the sun as it sets over the wilderness. Some of the animals roam the river banks as night falls. Murchison Falls national park is undoubtedly the largest park in Uganda with a wide variety of animals. Interestingly the river Nile passes right through the park thereby cutting it into two parts. The river Nile is teaming with fish since it lies within the protected area. As a matter of fact, commercial fishing is strictly not permitted.

We relax to breakfast and to the sun rising beyond the river Nile. Then, we head down on the boat to the pools of river Nile just below the roaring Murchison Falls. Without doubt, expect an array of fish including Tilapia, Cat-fish, Barbel fish and Lungfish. Because the river lies within the park, the boat is an excellent platform for fishing and of course wildlife viewing.

We leisurely head out to the river Nile during the morning. Yet another fishing day to explore and experience the Nile. However, we check out some of the best spots between the rocks on the banks of the river. Furthermore, we try fishing around the deepest part of the river.

Following breakfast, we leisurely return to the airport for your departure flight.
