Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport

You are warmly received on arrival and leisurely transferred to your hotel for a good night rest at Papyrus Guest House (BB) or Protea hotel (FB)

Day 2: Ziwa Sanctuary 210 km, 4 hours

After breakfast, we drive northwards through the countryside to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. In the afternoon, we take a walk through the thickets to see the white Rhinos. The Ziwa Sanctuary is the only place in Uganda with Rhinos. Learn about the breeding of Rhinos and their reintroduction to the natural habitat. Stay at Ziwa Guest House (BB) or Amuka Lodge (FB)

Day 3: Murchison Falls over the Rift Valley Escarpment

In the morning, we leisurely drive north to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, we pass over the rift valley escarpment and the top of the spectacular falls. Here, the River Nile gushes through a narrow gorge with a thunderous roar falling meters below. The main attractions of Murchison falls national park is the wildlife, the breathtaking water falls and the River Nile as it flows on its journey to Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea. Stay at Murchison River Lodge (BB) or Para Safari Lodge (FB) both overlooking the River Nile. Murchison Falls is one of the must see parks of Uganda.

Day 4: Murchison Falls Game drive and Boat cruise

We make an early morning game drive to watch the predators like Hyenas as they return to their dens. Expect to see lions, elephant herds, giraffes, buffaloes and leopards. In the afternoon, we do the relaxed boat trip and we sail upstream the River Nile to the bottom of the water falls. The boat is the ideal place to view and photograph bird species, hippos and crocodiles on the shores and little islands. Stay at Murchison River Lodge (BB) or Para Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 5: Delta boat then to Budongo Forest 70km 1.5 hour

This morning, we take a slow boat trip on the Nile downstream to the delta, where the river pours into Lake Albert. Along the river, there are animals and birds to see. We have breakfast and relax on the boat. We then drive leisurely south to Budongo Forest. Check in and have lunch. For the rest of the day,  relax at the eco-lodge with sights and sounds of the jungle. Spend the night at the Budongo eco-Lodge (FB) deep in the rainforest.

Day 6: Forest Chimpanzee tracking to Kampala/Entebbe 240 km 4 hours

After breakfast, we go chimpanzee tracking along the trails in the tranquil tropical forest. Encountering a chimpanzee family is the highlight. Budongo is Uganda’s biggest forest reserve with a habituated community of chimpanzees. The forest abounds with wildlife. In the afternoon, return to Kampala or Entebbe. END
