Day 1: Arrival in Uganda at Entebbe airport
You are received at the airport and transferred for a short distance to the hotel overlooking Lake Victoria. Protea Hotel (BB)
Day 2: Fly to Queen Elizabeth national park
After an early breakfast transfer to the Airport for your morning scheduled flight to Mweya peninsula. You will be taken to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you go for the afternoon game drive with your private driver guide. Over night is at the Mweya Lodge (FB) overlooking the Kazinga channel.
Day 3: Game drives and Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
The start is early today as you head out for a game drive on the northern side of the Park. It is an interesting drive in the wilderness as you observe Elephants, Leopards, Hyenas, Buffaloes and a variety of Antelopes. Return to the lodge to relax and have lunch. In the afternoon, you get on the Boat cruise experience along the Kazinga Channel. The cruise ends up at Lake Edward in view of the mountains of the Congo. The Kazinga Channel has many hippos and crocodiles and it is the main source of water in the park where animals come for a drink. The channel is natural and connects two lakes namely George and Edward. It has one of the biggest gatherings of birds in the world. Over night is at the Mweya Lodge (FB)
Day 4: Mweya to Ishasha for Tree climbing Lions
Today, we leave the Mweya peninsular and head south to Ishasha. The best attraction here is the tree climbing lions. Besides the lions in Manyara national park in Tanzania, Ishasha is the only famous region where the lions climb trees. In the afternoon, we have a game drive to search for the lions and other animals. Overnight is at Ishasha Wilderness Camp (FB)
Day 5: From Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable forest
At first, we make an early game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. Hereafter, we drive to Bwindi Forest National Park. During the drive, we make stops to see interesting landscapes and villages. Overnight is at the Mahogany Springs (FB) with magnificent views of the forest.
Day 6: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest
Have early breakfast and ready yourself for the best experience of this tour. After the briefing and registration at the park office, we enter the forest in search of the mountain Gorillas. The time that it lasts to find the Gorillas may not be easily estimated. This is because the Gorillas roam the forest all the time. However, seeing them is a complete adventure. You will be given a Gorilla certificate after the tracking. As the sun sets, you may take a relaxing community walk through the villages that surround the Park. It is also possible to visit the Pygmies family. Overnight is at the Gorilla Forest Camp (FB).
Day 7: Departure and end of the Uganda Flying Safari
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your morning flight to Entebbe Airport and check in for your International departure flight. END.
